About Us.

Vision

History.

Domani Benchtops is a family owned and operated business. We have been fabricating acrylic solid surface, natural stone, porcelain and ultracompact surfaces for over 25 years. We have a passion for high quality and attention to detail. We are a customer focused group who ensure we provide the very best service and end-product. We work with small private residential customers to large commercial projects and are always looking for more opportunities to work with new customers.

Health

Safety.

Being a small family business, we take health and safety very seriously.  Silicosis is a serious lung condition that can affect stonemasons if they practice cutting in an unsafe way.  We use all available precautions to ensure the safety of our employees during manufacture, and of all people on-site during installation.  To this end we perform all cutting in our specially fit out factory, and do not offer cutting on-site as this is unable to be provided without silicosis risk.    We are also able to offer alternative low-silica products that have a significantly reduced risk when working with them.  After the stone has been installed, as long as it stays in-situ there is no risk to the end user.

Our goals for

Sustainability.

Main Goals:

  1. Reduce Environmental Footprint: Minimize waste generation, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions across all operations.
  2. Promote Sustainable Sourcing: Prioritize the use of eco-friendly materials and responsibly sourced resources in our benchtop production.
  3. Enhance Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and invest in technology to optimize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact.
  4. Foster a Culture of Sustainability: Engage employees and customers in sustainability initiatives and promote environmental awareness.

Actions:

  1. Implement Water Reticulation System: Invest in infrastructure to recycle and reuse water in manufacturing processes, reducing water consumption and wastewater discharge.
  2. Adopt Paperless Technology: Transition towards digital documentation and communication systems to reduce paper usage and promote a paperless office environment.
  3. Explore Renewable Energy Sources: Investigate opportunities to integrate renewable energy sources such as solar power to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and decrease carbon emissions.
  4. Enhance Waste Management Practices: Implement waste reduction strategies, including waste-to-energy initiatives, to minimize landfill waste. This includes striving to repurpose offcuts in a manner that prevents them from ending up in landfills.
  5. Partner with Sustainable Suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers who adhere to sustainable practices and offer environmentally friendly materials and products.
  6. Employee Training and Engagement: Provide sustainability training and education programs for employees to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and empower them to contribute to sustainability goals.
